Program Delivery Officer
The Central and Northern Region Command, Custodial Operations Division delivers custodial services across Queensland. They oversee the supervision of individuals in custody at high or low security correctional centres.
The primary objective of the Program Delivery Officer is to ensure community safety by delivering approved general and/or sexual offending programs to offenders who require intervention.
* Participate in planning activities to ensure timely access to suitable programs and interventions.
* Prepare offenders for offender intervention programs.
* Ensure offender program activities align with evidence-based practice.
* Deliver offender intervention programs in accordance with operational plans.
* Provide advice on offender program suitability and other interventions.
* Monitor progress and report on offender participation.
* Comply with program management procedures, standards, and guidelines.
* Identify and respond to risks arising from offender management.
* Maintain knowledge of contemporary offender programs research and practices, legislation, policy, and procedures.
* Participate in case management activities for offenders requiring program participation.
* Provide timely information to relevant sites on offender program participation.
* Monitor continuity and consistency in offender management files and programs.
* Ensure accurate and current records in the Integrated Offender Management system (IOMS).
* Administer assessments to offenders.
* Analyse assessment results and record information.
* Contribute to case management and sentence management activities.
* Ensure accuracy and appropriateness of records and intervention reports.
* Provide program impact reports to courts and parole boards.
* Promote the value of offender programs to agencies and support services.
