The Role
Eureka Villages is seeking a dedicated daytime Chef to join our team at Mount Barker. This role is responsible for preparing and serving nutritious, high-quality meals for residents, ensuring dietary requirements are met while maintaining a safe, efficient, and well-organised kitchen environment.
The Role Is Casual And Includes
* One Saturday shift: 8.30am – 3pm (including break), working independently to prepare and serve Saturday meals, along with completing any additional kitchen tasks as required.
Key Responsibilities
* Preparing, cooking, and presenting high-quality meals with consistency and adherence to recipes and standards.
* Managing kitchen operations including food preparation, stock control, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
* Collaborating with other team members and departments to ensure smooth service and a positive resident experience.
About You
* Proven culinary experience, with the ability to work efficiently in a kitchen environment.
* Strong knowledge of food safety, hygiene standards, and kitchen equipment.
* A genuine passion for food, with creativity, attention to detail, and pride in presentation and flavour.
* Ability to satisfy pre-employment requirements, including a National Police History Check.
