We are seeking an experienced and driven professional to join a high‐performing team delivering strategic service design and legislative reform initiatives. This is a contract opportunity through to June 2026, offering the chance to work on complex, high‐impact projects within a dynamic environment.
About the Role
In this role, you will rapidly develop a strong understanding of the organisation's strategic priorities, operational landscape, and stakeholder environment to ensure successful and timely project delivery. You will collaborate closely with embedded service design specialists, policy officers, and project teams to deliver high‐quality service design and reform outcomes aligned with organisational objectives.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and/or support policy analysis and change impact assessments relating to legislative and policy reform.
* Identify operational impacts, implementation requirements, and implications across business areas, including changes to policy, processes, systems, and service delivery models.
* Assess risks, dependencies, and resource requirements to support informed decision‐making.
* Manage end‐to‐end project coordination and governance activities, including planning, scheduling, risk and issue management, stakeholder engagement, and reporting.
* Develop and maintain high‐quality project documentation such as project plans, briefs, status reports, decision logs, and risk and issue registers.
* Facilitate stakeholder engagement workshops, including with frontline staff, to document current‐state processes and contribute to future‐state service design solutions.
* Prepare design documentation, presentations, and governance materials to support senior executive oversight and decision‐making.
About You
* Demonstrated experience in service design, policy analysis, or legislative reform projects.
* Strong project coordination and governance capabilities.
* Proven ability to manage complex stakeholder environments.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to prepare executive‐level documentation.
* Ability to work autonomously while collaborating effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
