Job Overview:
This role is responsible for maintaining a safe, clean and welcoming environment within our educational institution.
* Clean and sanitise high-touch surfaces including toilets, sick bays and doorknobs.
* Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of equipment, windows, furniture and floors by buffing, stripping and polishing as required.
* Manage waste disposal, graffiti removal and control cobwebs throughout the premises.
* Maintain outdoor areas by cleaning paved surfaces and removing debris from drains and gutters.
* Activate and disarm security systems, and secure buildings as needed.
* Liaise with senior staff regarding supplies and report any safety or security concerns.
