We're currently seeking Experienced Support Workers in Bendigo to join our passionate team and help individuals achieve their personal goals and live life on their terms.
About the Role
As a valued member of our team, you'll support clients with a range of physical, intellectual, and mental health needs.
You'll assist with daily living tasks, promote independence, and encourage community participation — all while providing respectful, high-quality care.
What You'll Do
Provide personalised support to individuals with disabilities, mental health conditions, and complex needs
Assist with daily living activities including personal care, meal preparation, and household duties
Support clients to achieve their goals and live independently
Encourage community participation, social engagement, and recreational activities
Monitor wellbeing and report changes in behaviour or health
Providing support in basic first aid and supporting clients with medication where and as required
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to plan and follow individualized care plans
Ensure a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment at all times
What You'll Bring
Previous experience in a Support Worker or Care Assistant role
A genuine passion for supporting others and promoting independence
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong understanding of mental health, physical disabilities, and safeguarding
Ability to work autonomously and within a team
Flexibility to adapt to changing client needs
Minimum qualification, Certificate III in Individual support, Aged Care and Disability
First Aid Certification and CPR Certificates
Current Driver's License and access to a reliable vehicle with Insurance
Working With Children Check (WWCC)
Rights to work in Australia
100 points of ID, e.g. Passport, Driver License, Citizenship, Medicare
