Delivering Exceptional Customer Service
We are seeking an individual to join our team as a Services Officer. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for delivering outstanding service to our customers and ensuring the safety of our rail network.
Your primary focus will be on providing exceptional customer service, selling Myki and V/Net tickets, making announcements at the platform, and assisting passengers. During planned and unplanned disruptions, you will play a crucial role in coordinating bus replacements and facilitating safe, timely train departures.
* You will communicate accurate and timely information to customers, ensuring coach replacements are organized where required.
* You will ensure safety on and around the station, for customers, colleagues, and yourself.
* You will carry out platform and customer service duties as required.
* You will complete Myki and V/Net ticket sales and seat reservations.
About You:
To be successful in this role, you will require previous experience in face-to-face customer service and an operational environment. Having good situational awareness and demonstrating a strong commitment to safety is also essential.
* You will need to adapt to changing environments.
* You must have a strong focus on safety culture.
* You will need to have completed Year 10 (minimum).
* You will need to hold a Victorian Driver Licence.
* You may be required to travel to other stations to provide service along the line.
