**About the client**
Our client is a well-known international company, with its offices in Welshpool, producing and selling a large range of transport hydraulic equipment. They are the designer, manufacturer, and distributor of products servicing the transport and mobile hydraulics sector. Following a period of exceptional growth, the company now has a vacancy for a **Technical Sales Representative** responsible for increasing sales revenue and promoting and selling the company's products and services in WA.
**About the role**
The key to this role is increasing sales revenue and promoting and selling the company's products and services. You will be representing the company in all aspects of selling the company's products and services across WA, and promoting the fit-up, service and repair capabilities of the facility in **Welshpool**. Working with the WA State Manager, and the sales team, you will be responsible for managing the territory to maximise call cycles and customer visits, identifying new product and workshop opportunities and strengthening relationships with existing customers.
**About you**
Essential skills:
- Minimum 5 years experience in technical sales within the road transport hydraulics industry
- Experience in customer development and retention
- Experience in building and fostering and managing a cohesive team environment
- Proven history of increasing company revenue
- Valid driver's license
- Current forklift licence
Preferred skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Excellent negotiation, and presentation skills
- Ability to identify and solve customer issues strategically
