As an Advice Support Officer, you'll help ordinary Australians navigate their financial futures, ensuring they receive the right advice at the right time. You'll become the trusted first point of contact for members seeking financial advice, triaging their needs and setting them up for success.
The Opportunity
You'll work closely with both members and financial planners, ensuring seamless communication and exceptional service delivery throughout the advice process. Your day will involve:
 * Receiving and triaging member advice requests
 * Determining appropriate advice types and service packages tailored to individual member needs
 * Scheduling appointments and preparing comprehensive client files using our XPLAN system
 * Coordinating implementation of agreed advice strategies, including applications and follow-up
 * Supporting our financial planning team with CRM administration and training
 * Contributing to member seminars and workplace presentations
We're looking for someone who is an organised professional with experience in administrative or associate roles, ideally within financial services. You should have strong verbal and written communication skills, with attention to detail. A collaborative mindset and commitment to excellent customer service are also essential.
About The Role
 * Previous administrative experience in a corporate environment (financial planning experience highly valued)
 * Strong verbal and written communication skills with attention to detail
 * Ability to prioritise tasks, work autonomously, and meet deadlines consistently
 * Experience with financial planning software (XPLAN knowledge particularly beneficial)
 * A collaborative mindset and commitment to excellent customer service
Key Qualifications
 * Completed or currently studying towards a Graduate Diploma of Financial Planning
 * Kaplan Generic Knowledge + Tier 1 Superannuation — General Advice (or similar from another provider)
 * Diploma of Financial Planning or Superannuation (CPD Maintained)
