Clinical Lead - Safe Wayz Program
The Far West Local Health District is seeking a skilled clinical professional to coordinate the delivery of trauma-informed and culturally safe primary prevention initiatives for children under the age of criminal responsibility who display problematic or harmful sexual behaviors.
* Provide expert advice and leadership in coordinating integrated responses to support vulnerable children, young people, adults, and their families.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the Coordination of trauma-informed and culturally safe primary prevention initiatives across the Far West LHD.
* Culturally consult, advise, and supervise clinicians working with Aboriginal children, young people, adults, and their families who have experienced violence, abuse, and neglect.
* Develop and implement effective strategies to reduce violence, abuse, and neglect in the community.
* Foster strong partnerships with local health services, education providers, and community organizations to promote healthy relationships and prevent harm.
This role requires a high level of expertise in clinical leadership, cultural consultation, and trauma-informed practice. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
