As a Quality & Supply Chain Coordinator, you'll play a pivotal role in maintaining product excellence and ensuring everything runs smoothly across our client's production environment. You'll drive quality assurance processes, support compliance with safety and manufacturing standards, and keep purchasing, inventory, and workflow systems operating efficiently.
Working closely with the production and procurement teams, you will help manage systems including Microsoft Access and KANBAN, while also providing valuable oversight and backup support across purchasing, production scheduling, and OHS administration. This is a hands‑on role where your coordination skills and commitment to continuous improvement will make a real impact on product quality and business performance.
Key Responsibilities
Quality & Compliance
* Monitor and report on product quality and waste
* Track corrective and preventative actions
* Coordinate warranty claims and maintain quality documentation
* Support safety compliance by assisting with incident reviews, internal audits and risk assessments
Purchasing & Inventory Support
* Provide support and backup to the Purchasing Officer
* Assist with ordering goods, supplier coordination and basic cost analysis
* Support quarterly stocktakes and maintain KANBAN systems
Systems & Production Support
* Review production orders and ensure data accuracy in Microsoft Access
* Assist with system updates, troubleshooting and coordination with IT support
OHS Support
* Assist the OHS Manager with safety reporting and documentation
What You'll Bring
* Experience in quality, supply chain or production coordination
* Strong reporting and documentation skills
* Knowledge of inventory processes such as KANBAN
* Exposure to purchasing and supplier liaison
* Willingness to learn Microsoft Access and/or MRP systems
* Strong attention to detail, communication and teamwork
* Forklift licence (or willingness to obtain)
