Part-Time ***** Hours per Week
As a cook, you will prepare and serve meals, oversee foodservice operation, and ensure adequate food and supplies are available.
Responsibilities
Prepare and serve food to residents within the scheduled timeframe.
Follow the menu cycle, noting changes or substitutions on proper form.
Clean and maintain a neat, safe working environment, including the kitchen and food service areas.
Comply with state sanitation codes.
Maintain inventory control, place food orders, verify that items are received appropriately, and restock accordingly.
Ensure that resident food preferences are known and followed.
Qualifications
Can obtain a Food Handler's card and meet all mandatory health requirements by state regulations.
Typical candidates have one year of cooking experience.
Read, write, speak and understand English.
