KJB Law is currently seeking a motivated and ambitious Solicitor with a current practicing certificate (or eligible to obtain one), Licensed Conveyancer or Law Graduate eligible for admission to join our Residential conveyancing team. This role focuses on residential property transactions across ACT and NSW.

The Role:
* Managing and advising on a broad range of residential property transactions (ACT and NSW), including sales, purchases, off the plan purchases, building contracts and transfers, from start to finish.
* Review and draft legal documents related to property transactions prepared by conveyancing support staff, identifying risks, and advising appropriate actions.
* Conducting comprehensive research to stay updated on conveyancing changes and apply insights to client matters.
* Ensuring compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards
* Work closely with clients, providing legal advice on their matters while building trusted relationships, and liaise with real estate agents, lenders, and other parties to facilitate conveyancing matters
* Maintaining accurate records and files throughout the conveyancing lifecycle
* Demonstrated experience working in a high-volume, fast-paced dynamic workplace and team, with a strong commitment to working collegiately within a team.
The Successful Applicant:
* Qualified solicitor eligible to practice in the ACT, with a restricted practicing certificate, licensed conveyancer, or a law graduate eligible for admission, with strong knowledge or practical exposure to residential conveyancing.
* Strong communication skills for interacting with clients and stakeholders.
* Excellent attention to detail, organization, and ability to meet deadlines.
* Client-focused mindset and commitment to delivering high-quality services.
* Proven capability to mentor, guide, and support junior conveyancing staff
* Willingness to learn and develop expertise in residential conveyancing.
* Knowledge/experience of PEXA, DMS, Practice Management systems, M365 suites.
* Must be a team player.
