Environmental Project Leader
The Environmental Project Leader is responsible for the planning, execution, and management of environmental projects related to contaminated land assessment, management, remediation, and validation.
Key responsibilities include:
* Developing and implementing project management plans to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
* Coordinating with cross-functional teams, including environmental scientists, engineers, and support staff, to achieve project objectives.
* Managing project budgets, tracking expenses, and ensuring cost-effectiveness.
* Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, ensuring clear communication and satisfaction with project outcomes.
To be successful in this role, you will require:
* A degree in Science, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
* Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering environmental projects, medium to large scale.
* 5+ years of experience in environmental consulting, with a focus on contaminated land management.
* Strong understanding of environmental regulations, standards and practices, particularly NSW legislation.

Job Requirements:
Qualifications:
* Degree in Science, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
* Project management certification (PMP or equivalent).
Skills:
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to lead and motivate project teams.
* Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Experience:
* 5+ years of experience in environmental consulting, with a focus on contaminated land management.
* Experience working with key business stakeholders.
* Experience in report writing, technical review, project management, and the management of junior specialists.
Preferred:
* LAA licence.
* Government or infrastructure experience highly desirable.
