We are seeking a People & Culture Manager to join our leadership team based in Brisbane at our Archerfield Head Office and Manufacturing Facility.

Reporting to the General Manager, we are looking for someone to develop and implement a Strategy that drives performance, culture, and ultimately our capability. The successful candidate will shape strategic workforce initiatives, empowering Shellby Power to achieve its strategic objectives while cultivating an environment where our people can thrive and perform at the top of their game. This leadership role will have broad scope to make an impact!
With a focus on business outcomes, you will play a crucial role in facilitating smooth HR operations, enhancing employee engagement, and driving organisational success through effective partnership and proactive problem solving.
This position provides end-to-end people and culture support across the organisation's operations. The role balances day-to-day HR delivery with exposure to workforce initiatives, compliance, and continuous improvement activities.

· Part time hours, 3 days per week.
· Part time school hrs 3-5 days per week.
Key responsibilities
· Coordinate end-to-end recruitment, selection, onboarding and induction processes.
· Prepare employment contracts and manage onboarding compliance obligations.
· Provide general HR administration, including maintaining employee records and registers.
· Assist with performance appraisal and performance management processes.
· Lead grievance, investigation and employee relations matters as required.
· Assist with job design, position descriptions and role classification reviews.
· Development, implementation and review of HR policies and procedures.
· Maintain compliance registers (police clearances, visas, performance reviews, PDs).
· Support employee wellbeing, diversity and inclusion initiatives.
· Assist with change management and people-related projects.
· Stay across all changes to MA, MA, and MA awards.
· Coordinate with payroll as needed to ensure all elements of payroll are above minimum standards.
· Communicate with external support providers (Peninsula HR) to ensure HR policies and procedures remain compliant, and to respond to HR issues in real time.

You will bring
· Tertiary qualifications in HR or related fields.
· Minimum 3 years' experience in a generalist HR or People & Culture role.
· Previous HR/recruitment experience (Experience in roster management or FIFO scheduling highly desirable).
· Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
· Solid organisational skills and attention to detail.
· Working knowledge of Australian employment legislation.
