The Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Mergers & Acquisitions lawyer to join a leading organisation operating at the forefront of innovation, investment, and emerging technologies. This role will see you working closely with dynamic startups, scale-ups, and venture capital partners, advising on complex transactions that drive growth and transformation across the industry.
You will be responsible for providing strategic legal advice on M&A and investment transactions, structuring deals, and navigating regulatory requirements. The position offers exposure to a wide variety of high-value matters, with a strong emphasis on venture capital, private equity, and startup ecosystems.
Key Requirements
At least 7+ years PQE in mergers and acquisitions, venture capital, or corporate advisory gained at a top-tier, mid-tier, or leading boutique firm, or in-house within the investment/startup space.
Strong technical expertise in corporate transactions, deal structuring, and regulatory compliance.
Experience working for or liaising with start-up organisations.
Demonstrated experience advising on venture capital or private equity transactions, ideally with direct exposure to startups and high-growth companies.
Excellent drafting, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
Commercial mindset with the ability to work closely with founders, investors, and internal stakeholders to achieve strategic outcomes.
Happy with a January start date.
