NuChange Building is a family-owned business located NOR and specialise in second storey additions, renovations and new builds. We are currently seeking a fulltime skilled and reliable Bricklayer to join our team as an employee.
As an applicant you are required to have bricklaying experience in residential new builds, renovations and additions, display a strong attention to detail and taking pride in all aspects of your work is imperative.
Possess the ability to take initiative on a daily basis should be amongst your strengths. You must be hard working, meticulous and have the ability to think outside the box. You need to be able to work within a team or independently.
Responsibilities:
* Laying bricks, blocks, and other building materials to construct and repair walls, structures, and foundations.
* Following detailed blueprints and drawings to meet client specifications.
* Performing repairs and restorations on brickwork.
* Ensuring a clean, safe, and organised worksite at all times.
* Working efficiently to meet deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.
Must Have Requirements:
* Proven experience as a bricklayer
* Experience in residential additions and renovations
* Ability to read and interpret construction plans and blueprints.
* Strong attention to detail and excellent craftsmanship.
* A positive attitude and strong work ethic.
* Relevant bricklaying qualifications or certifications
* White Card
* Australian Residency
* Current Drivers License
* Own Tools
* Own a vehicle
