Our client is seeking a temporary plumber to join their busy team.
Your new company
Seeking an experienced Maintenance Plumber to start as soon as possible in a State Government department. You will be engaged on an initial temporary contract, with the possibility of extension should you be a good fit for the team. You will be required to work full-time hours Monday to Friday, at a competitive hourly rate.
Your new role
* Performs plumbing and gas maintenance, including fault-finding, repairs, installations, and preventive works in line with standards and regulations.
* Maintains tools, equipment, and safety compliance, following manufacturer guidelines and health and safety protocols.
* Using digital systems to document maintenance activities like hydraulic flushing and inspections.
* Supports coordination with contractors, mentors apprentices, and contributes to joint projects and technical advice.
What you'll need to succeed
* Holds required licences, including WA Plumbing Trade Certificate.
* Hold a current "C" or "C. A" class driving licence.
* Knowledge of hydraulic safety standards and relevant installations and equipment.
* Strong communication skills for engaging stakeholders across the site.
* Proven ability to work independently and in a team within a facilities' management environment.
