About us:
We provide a range of community health and support services for children and their parents or carers to give every child the best possible start in life. Services may be offered in the home, or in community health centre and clinics. Care is provided by a multidisciplinary team of Child Health Nurses, Health Workers and Early Intervention Clinicians (either Social Workers or Psychologists).
About the role:
Provide comprehensive administrative support for Child Health while providing a professional and high quality customer service to the public, patients/clients, staff, and visitors.
Provide general clerical duties, quality client service, patient bookings, receipting, correspondence and basic reports, minutes and agenda preparation and completion, records and statistics collation, typing, data entry, word processing and spreadsheeting of documents, use modern office equipment, switchboard, reception, filing and other duties as directed.
High work ethics, the ability to work autonomously and ethical decision making in the achievement of departmental/organisational goals.
Maintain and respect the confidentiality and privacy of clients/patients and other staff members.
Maintain harmonious and productive working relationships and be a contributing team member committed to the principle of patient focused care and the concept of total quality service.
About you:
Competent in the use of contemporary word processing, spread sheeting, database and other information systems ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
Well-developed problem solving, consultation, and negotiation skills.
Ability to establish work priorities to meet deadlines without the need for direct supervision.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and deal with sensitive matters appropriately.
Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills, including the possession of tact, diplomacy and discretion in dealing with staff and the public.
Ability to work well within a team and adapt to a changing work environment.
What we offer:
Total remuneration value of up to $99,508 p.a. is comprised of:
An hourly rate between $ $46.10 p.h.
12.75% employer superannuation contribution
