Overview
Permanent part-time and/or casual fitness trainers to join Fitstop Belmont, located next to Belmont Forum. We are also seeking expressions of interest for a head coach who is dedicated to fitness. Fitstop is the Home of Functional Fitness across Australia and has over 150 locations internationally. We have a result-driven, lifestyle-inspired approach to health and fitness. Our trainers take a hands-on approach to help our members continually progress and reach their full potential. We are looking for someone with a genuine passion for health and fitness who wants to make a positive impact on people's lives and our community.
About the role
Our team is the face of our business; they play an integral part in our growth and success. As part of the Fitstop team, you will be surrounded by a strong, passionate community while working alongside Fitstop owners, managers, trainers, and our members. Your key responsibility will be to inspire our members through exceptional group training sessions. You will have a strong focus on member growth and retention by building and maintaining relationships with members and the local community. In turn, you will receive workplace flexibility and ongoing personal and professional development to advance your career. In addition to taking group training sessions, you have the freedom to run personal training sessions (outside of group training sessions) rent-free.
Responsibilities
* Inspire members through exceptional group training sessions
* Focus on member growth and retention by building and maintaining relationships with members and the local community
* Participate in ongoing personal and professional development
* Deliver group training and offer personal training sessions (outside of group classes) rent-free where applicable
Qualifications and experience
To be successful in this position, you would possess the following key components:
* Certificate III (must-have) and IV in Fitness (desirable)
* Previous experience in personal training, preferably group training (preferred but not essential)
* Current First Aid and CPR
* Exceptional Customer Service and Sales skills
* Experience with managing social platforms and community management
* Flexibility and willingness to step outside the bounds of the role
* Creativity, drive and initiative
* Highly motivated and have a passion to succeed
* Work well as part of a team
* High level of integrity
