This is a Permanent Full-Time position.
Working hours are 38 hours per week (between 8am to 4:30pm, Monday to Friday).
Based in Coffs Harbour, you will report to the Service Delivery Manager.

This role works in partnership with people experiencing homelessness, at imminent risk of homelessness, or living in unsafe or unsustainable accommodation.
We collaborate with our customers to help them secure safe, affordable housing and support their long-term success in maintaining their accommodation.
This is an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander identified position.

The day-to-day:You will be allocated a caseload of individuals from diverse backgrounds, working closely with them.Your customers will be supported to secure stable, safe, and affordable housing.You will assist customers in accessing mainstream and specialist services and developing meaningful community connections.Address vulnerabilities such as trauma, abuse, family breakdown, domestic violence, mental health issues, substance abuse, cognitive impairments, discrimination, racism, financial difficulties, distrust in services, and sector navigation challenges.Develop and implement individual support plans in partnership with your customers.Provide advice, advocacy, and mentoring.Establish and maintain links with private rental sectors and service providers.Network and negotiate with stakeholders to promote sector collaboration.Empower customers by promoting independence, wellbeing, and informed choices using person-centred, trauma-informed, and strengths-based approaches.Complete admin tasks such as progress notes, assessments, and reports accurately and on time.What you need to have:Strong values guiding your work, aligned with our organisational values of passion, integrity, and respect.Relevant qualifications in Community Services, Case Management, Mental Health, Disability, or related fields, or equivalent industry experience.Experience in case management within the housing/homelessness sector.Experience working with individuals with complex needs.Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office and reporting systems.A current NSW Driver's license and willingness to travel within the local area.Willingness to obtain police checks, WWCC, NDIS screening, and first aid certification as required.You could benefit from:Rostered days off (RDOs).Salary packaging options up to $15,900+ tax-free.Leave loading, superannuation.Development opportunities and mentoring.A supportive culture and environment.Employee Assistance Program.Fitness Passport program.To Apply:Please include a resume and cover letter explaining how your skills and experience meet the key responsibilities outlined above.
