Public Sector Account Manager Role
We are seeking a seasoned sales professional to develop and manage NSW Public Sector accounts within the assigned region, territory, or vertical.
This position requires strong skills in lead generation, relationship building, and solution sales experience in identifying market size and focus; developing sales pipeline; penetrating new accounts and driving the sales process.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of consistent performance and outstanding target achievement in a New Business Development role, with existing relationships at Technology Management level within government or public sector customers.
About the Job
1. Job Description: Develop and manage NSW Public Sector accounts within the assigned region, territory, or vertical by aggressively developing new business through new and existing accounts and managing profitable business relationships.
2. Key Responsibilities: Responsible for lead generation, building relationships with prospective customers, account profiling and developing the prospective customer into a revenue generating customer.
3. Solution Sales Experience: Position Rapid7 platform, including Managed Security Services to craft effective solutions that meet the needs of our clients.
4. Performance Metrics: Meet or exceed quarterly/annual sales quota, ensure the provision of appropriate business information for decision-making and control, negotiate contracts, up-sell, build customer rapport, and assist with adoption.
5. Team Collaboration: Navigate channel and MSSP partners and effectively collaborate to grow assigned territory business, manage and respond to RFP's, working with internal stakeholders within and outside of Australia.
