Our organization is seeking a skilled professional to fill the role of Governance Officer. This position involves providing confidential advice and administrative support to senior staff members, ensuring that governance-related tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
The ideal candidate will possess strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent written and verbal communication abilities. They will also be able to work independently and manage priorities with ease.
The successful applicant will be responsible for implementing new and revised legislation, supporting the governance team with council meetings and workshops, and developing work methods and governance procedures and policies.
Additionally, they will ensure that legislative processes and requirements are met, coordinate and maintain corporate registers and planning processes, and improve governance systems and procedures.
