Electrical Reliability Engineer Job Description
Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Reliability Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe and reliable operation of electrical assets, with a focus on preventing failures and optimising maintenance strategies.
Key Responsibilities
The key responsibilities of this role include:
Developing and implementing strategies to enhance electrical asset reliability, performance and efficiency
Leading failure analysis and root cause investigations to eliminate recurring issues
Identifying process gaps and driving continuous improvement to maximise uptime and reduce costs
Developing and implementing solutions, including but not limited to maintenance strategies, new design, improved guidelines to ensure balance between costs, risks, and performance of mobile assets
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
Experience in electrical reliability, maintenance or design engineering within heavy industry such as mining, oil & gas or petrochemical
A strong understanding of electrical and instrumentation systems and applicable Australian standards
Skilled in root cause analysis and continuous improvement processes
Ability to build effective working relationships across maintenance, production and engineering teams

About You
You will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:
Experience in electrical reliability, maintenance or design engineering within heavy industry such as mining, oil & gas or petrochemical
Strong understanding of electrical and instrumentation systems and applicable Australian standards
Skilled in root cause analysis and continuous improvement processes
Ability to build effective working relationships across maintenance, production and engineering teams
Qualifications
For this position, we require:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
RPEQ, CPEng, or eligibility to obtain
Current Drivers Licence
