About the Opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity for a Electronics Technician to play a key role in a high-impact program within our Red Ochre Autonomy and Sensors team, based onsite at RAAF Base Edinburgh Parks. This full-time position runs Monday to Friday, with day and evening shift rotations. You'll be part of a cutting-edge team supporting mission-critical systems in a dynamic defence environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Perform hands-on preventative and corrective maintenance on complex radar and air traffic control systems.
* Supervise junior techs, certify tasks, and maintain compliance with defence-grade standards.
* Troubleshoot faults in high-tech systems and drive solutions in real-time.
* Contribute to integration and validation of electronic equipment.
* Manage configuration, conduct fault trend analysis, and ensure accurate maintenance records.
About You
* Minimum Certificate III/IV in Electronics
* Must have extensive experience in a relevant technical industry
* Proven experience with complex electronic systems is highly desirable
* Previous experience working with radar and/or air traffic control systems is highly desirable
* Ability to work in a highly regulated, defence-aligned environment
* Negative Vetting Level 1 security clearance or eligibility to obtain
* Eligibility to be cleared for International Traffic In Arms (ITAR) regulations
* Defence security clearance or eligibility to obtain
