Repair Technician
Location: Silverwater, NSW
We are currently seeking a Repair Technician to join a busy repair operation based in Silverwater. This role focuses on repairing laptops used by everyday customers, with a strong emphasis on quality and turnaround times.
About the Role
As a Service Repair Technician, you will be responsible for repairing Lenovo laptops following diagnosis by a dedicated diagnostic team. Parts are pre-ordered for you, allowing you to focus on efficient, high-quality repairs.
You will be supported during your initial days on the job, with guidance provided to ensure you are set up for success.
Key Responsibilities
* Repair Lenovo laptops for everyday users
* Perform repairs based on diagnostics provided by the diagnostic team
* Complete an average of 10 repairs per day
* Handle laptops with mixed levels of complexity and fault types
* Ensure repairs meet the 3-day turnaround requirement
* Maintain quality standards to avoid turnaround penalties
Skills & Experience
* Some experience repairing generic computers or laptops
* Basic troubleshooting and repair skills (Lenovo experience not essential)
* Ability to work efficiently in a KPI-driven environment
* Good attention to detail and time management

* Police Check required (e-copy is sufficient)
* No-beep policy: personal mobile phones must be stored in lockers during work hours
