Role Overview
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a skilled Social Worker to join the Safeguarding Team in Glenfield, Leicester. Key Responsibilities
* Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify risks and formulate safeguarding plans.
* Develop and implement robust risk management strategies to protect vulnerable service users.
* Provide emotional and practical support to children, families, and adults as appropriate.
* Collaborate with partner agencies including health services, police, and educational institutions to coordinate care and interventions.
* Maintain accurate, clear, and timely case records and reports.
* Deliver evidence-based interventions tailored to individual and family needs.
* Attend multi-agency meetings such as case conferences and strategy discussions.
* Qualified Social Worker with Social Work England registration.
* Proven experience in safeguarding, child protection, or adult protection roles.
* Solid understanding of legislative frameworks including the Children Act, Care Act, and associated statutory guidance.
* Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and maintain professional boundaries.
* Proficient in IT systems and case management tools.
