Summerstar Tourist Parks is seeking a capable, experienced Management Couple to join our team as Relief Park Managers. This is a unique, full-time opportunity to travel and work across our 14 caravan and tourist parks – 13 located across stunning Western Australia and 1 in Ceduna, South Australia – covering holidays, vacancies, and providing support where needed.
This is a hands-on, flexible role requiring strong teamwork, adaptability, and leadership skills. In return, we offer travel reimbursements, a vehicle allowance, and the chance to live and work in some of Australia’s most beautiful regional destinations.
What We’re Looking For
To be considered, you must have:
Your own reliable vehicle
Your own caravan
At least 2 years’ industry experience
A willingness to travel regularly between Parks
We’re looking for a capable, self-sufficient couple where one partner has a strong administration and customer service background and the other is confident with maintenance and groundskeeping .
About the Role
As Relief Park Managers, your duties will include:
Overseeing day-to-day Park operations, including guest services and after-hours responsibilities
Performing groundskeeping and maintenance tasks: mowing, gardening, basic repairs, pool care, etc.
Managing the front office : guest check-ins/outs, handling reservations, emails, phones, and shop sales
Night patrols and responding to after-hours call-outs
Handling end-of-month reporting and basic financial management
Occasionally assisting with cleaning and laundry when needed
Supporting seasonal activities: BBQs, kids events, and guest engagement
Training new staff or couples, when required
Relieving existing managers for annual leave, RDOs, or unplanned absences
Excellent customer service and communication
Strong handyman and/or maintenance skills
Sound computer literacy (RMS or similar systems preferred)
Fit, capable and willing to get your hands dirty
A team-player attitude, with the ability to work autonomously
Solid understanding of business operations
Leadership and problem-solving abilities
Tourist Park or similar accommodation industry experience is highly regarded
