We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Secondary Humanities and Social Sciences Teacher to join our dynamic teaching team, commencing Term 1, 2026. Key Responsibilities Include:
- Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons in Humanities and Social Sciences in line with the Western Australian Curriculum
- Create a positive, safe and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and achievement
- Assess and report on student progress in accordance with school and curriculum requirements
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents and the wider school community
- Model and foster values of teamwork, resilience and respect
Selection Criteria:
- A personal commitment to the Lord Jesus Christ and active involvement in a Christian church
- Registration (or eligibility) with the Teacher Registration Board of Western Australia (TRBWA)
- Strong knowledge of the Western Australian Curriculum in HaSS
- Ability to integrate ICT into teaching and learning
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A commitment to ongoing professional learning and growth
- A current Working with Children Check (or ability to obtain)
- Experience in teaching Year 11 and 12 HaSS in Action or Modern History
