Purpose of the Role
To lead, coach and support the restaurant team to deliver exceptional guest experiences, uphold Schnitz standards, and contribute to the overall performance and success of the restaurant.
Key Accountabilities
- Ensure every guest receives friendly, fast, and consistent service that reflects our CRUMBS values.
- Support, motivate, and train crew members to perform their roles effectively and deliver high-quality service.
- Oversee daily operations including food preparation, cleanliness, cash handling, and adherence to safety and hygiene standards.
- Take ownership of shifts by coordinating team tasks, delegating responsibilities, and ensuring smooth handovers.
- Maintain Schnitz’s gold standard for food presentation, temperature, and consistency.
- Monitor stock levels, control waste, and support ordering accuracy to manage costs.
- Ensure compliance with all food safety, WHS, and cleanliness requirements.
- Actively seek opportunities to grow leadership skills and contribute ideas to improve operations.
Key Ingredients (What You Bring)
- Previous experience in a fast-paced hospitality or retail environment.
- Strong leadership skills — leads by example, not by title.
- Passion for great food and genuine guest service.
- Reliable, organised, and proactive with attention to detail.
- A willingness to learn, hustle, and support others.
- Respectful communication and teamwork under pressure.
