Embody Movement is seeking a
Senior Physiotherapist
to join our exceptional team on the Sunshine Coast. This role is suited to a clinician with depth: skilled hands, refined communication, holistic understanding, and a desire to shape the future of our services.
Part-time or full-time available for the right candidate.
Who We're Looking For
You're an experienced clinician who brings a blend of technical skill, emotional intelligence, and innovation. You understand that outcomes are shaped not only by treatment, but by connection, clarity, and support.
You'll thrive with us if you:
Treat the whole person
You are confident integrating:
* Manual therapy
* Movement-based rehabilitation (Pilates, yoga, functional exercise)
* Education around sleep, stress, nervous system regulation, social connection and lifestyle factors
* You see the body in context, not isolation.
Have Advanced Clinical Skill
You bring strong hands-on and pain-reducing capabilities, ideally including:
* Manual therapy
* Dry needling or acupuncture
* Knowledge of load management & exercise progression
* An interest in nutrition, recovery, and lifestyle influences on pain
Are a gifted communicator
You:
* Create deep rapport quickly
* Help patients feel heard, understood and genuinely supported
* Hold space for complex presentations
* Communicate with clarity and confidence
* Your presence alone helps people feel safe, hopeful and ready to change.
Are a leader (formal or informal)
You:
* Love contributing ideas and elevating a shared vision
* Are excited to help shape new services
* Can mentor junior clinicians, or aspire to

Areas of Advantage

* Dry needling or acupuncture

Requirements
* Full AHPRA registration
* Minimum 3–5 years experience (private practice preferred)
