About the role:
Join a family owned and well-established plastering services company delivering standout results across commercial projects. This is a fantastic opportunity for a detail-focused Estimator to play a key role in securing and supporting a strong pipeline of work.
Tasks & Responsibilities:
* Prepare accurate cost estimates and quotations for commercial and residential painting projects
* Interpret architectural plans, specifications, and tender documents
* Liaise with builders, project managers, and clients to scope and confirm project requirements
* Source supplier and subcontractor pricing and ensure competitive rates
* Track project costings and assist in tender submissions and budgeting
* Work closely with the delivery team to support smooth handover and project setup
Skills & experience:
* Minimum 5+years' experience in an Estimator role
* Experience within plastering essential - similar trades may be considered
* Ability to read and interpret drawings, take-offs, and scopes of work
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite
* Construction Management degree, highly regarded.
* High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and time management skills
