Centre Cook Position Overview
We are currently seeking a skilled Centre Cook to join our team in planning and preparing healthy meals for children at our early learning centre in Lara, Victoria.
This role involves developing and implementing menus that cater to various dietary needs while ensuring compliance with food safety standards. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with educators to create engaging mealtime experiences that promote the wellbeing and development of children.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design and execute menus that meet the diverse nutritional requirements of children.
* Collaborate with educators to craft memorable mealtime experiences that foster children's emotional and cognitive growth.
Requirements:
* A Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent qualification is essential.
* Prior experience in childcare cooking and a genuine passion for supporting children's health and wellbeing is highly desirable.
