Your new company
Our client is a complex, forward looking organisation with a sizeable internal spend profile and critical supply chains. With executive backing a rare opportunity presents for a seasoned Group Manager to elevate procurement, inventory and warehousing performance enterprise wide.
Your new role
Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, you will lead an integrated Procurement function across Procurement, Warehouse and Purchasing in setting strategy and delivering measurable commercial outcomes across the business.
Key accountabilities
Provide strategic leadership across procurement, contract management, inventory and warehouse operations, ensuring full alignment to organisational priorities and future needs.
Operate as a trusted adviser to Executives and senior leaders engaging early, shaping options, and co‑designing solutions that balance performance, value and risk.
Lead category management and strategic sourcing programs that lift safety, productivity, supplier performance and cost efficiency.
Oversee complex negotiations through to execution, and orchestrate robust, value‑maximising contract management across the lifecycle.
Identify and deliver cost optimisation, working capital and efficiency gains across procurement and the supply chain.
Build a high‑performing team culture (15+), strengthening relationships with business stakeholders and strategic suppliers while maintaining the highest probity standards.
Drive continuous improvement in streamlining processes, championing self‑service and automation and leveraging systems
Maintain organisational compliance with modern slavery obligations, including risk identification, mitigation and reporting.
Own enterprise procurement frameworks including policies, procedures, templates and training and deliver transparent performance and value reporting to leadership
What you'll need to succeed
Tertiary or postgraduate qualifications and a proven record leading procurement at scale.
Demonstrated commercial acumen, strategic planning and decision‑making capability.
Gravitas to represent the function at executive level and influence enterprise‑wide outcomes.
Leadership strengths that set direction, lift capability and coach for high performance with outstanding communication, stakeholder and negotiation skills
Attributes that include achievement focus, integrity, independence, decisive judgment, customer centricity and a systems mindset
