Meelup Farmhouse is an iconic restaurant offering a unique dining experience, exceptional service, and a relaxing atmosphere, co-located on a hobby farm. We pride ourselves on creating unforgettable moments for our guests through great food, drinks and warm hospitality.
We are looking for experienced Waiter(s)/Waitress(es) to join our team as soon as possible. Please note that suitable candidates will be required to live and work in the WA South West region; FIFO arrangements will not be accepted.
:
* Greet guests warmly, escort them to their tables and provide menus
* Present daily specials and offer recommendations based on guest preferences
* Take food and beverage orders accurately and promptly
* Liaise with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely and accurate delivery of orders
* Serve food and drinks with attention to presentation and service standards
* Monitor tables during service to respond to guest needs and requests efficiently
* Clear and reset tables between guests, maintaining a clean and tidy dining area
* Process payments and handle cash or card transactions in accordance with venue procedures
* Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene and RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) standards
* Assist in opening and closing duties, including set-up and pack-down of the dining area
* Communicate effectively with team members and support a collaborative work environment
* Handle guest feedback professionally and escalate where necessary
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of menu items, ingredients and any allergens
* Uphold the venue's standards of service, ambience and customer experience at all times.

* At least one (1) year of full-time experience in Australia (OR equivalent) as a Waiter/Waitress
* Friendly, attentive and responsive to guest needs to ensure a positive dining experience
* Clear and professional when taking orders and liaising with team members
* Accurate in order taking, presentation and service delivery.
* Works collaboratively with front-of-house and kitchen staff to maintain smooth operations
* Efficient in managing multiple tables and tasks in a busy, fast-paced environment.
