We are looking for an onsite Field Services Engineer who has a positive, can-do attitude and can thrive in a fast-paced, high-performance environment. This permanent position involves working on critical control system infrastructure within an operational technology (OT) setting. You will join a team responsible for managing the infrastructure of multiple data centers, which support all production, test, and development systems.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage escalations and provide onsite technical assistance
* Assist and resolve incidents raised by staff and internal support teams
* Support by diagnosing problems and providing resolutions for technical issues
* Provide guidance, support and mentoring to the internal support teams
* Assist with delivering key solutions and occasionally project tasks
* Documentation of support processes and issue resolutions
* Dedicated Onsite Support
What Will Make You Successful
* Previous experience working for a Managed Service Provider highly desirable
* Joining a collaborative team, you will have a proven track record of taking ownership and successfully delivering results in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
* Over 5 years' technical experience in an IT environment
* Proficient in managing and supporting both Hyper-V and VMware (Vsphere) virtualisation technologies
* Demonstrated experience in managing Microsoft environments (Windows Server 2016/2019/2022)
* Proficient in SCCM
* Experience in Active Directory management, Group Policy administration and PowerShell
* Working knowledge of backup technologies. Proficiency in Veeam is desirable.
* Demonstrated knowledge of networking: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLAN, Routing
* Remote Desktop / Terminal Services
* Knowledge of ServiceNow is desirable
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
