Maintenance Fitter – Food Manufacturing Location: Roselands, NSW Hours: Monday to Friday | 2:00pm – 10:00pm (38-hour week) Pay: $109,200 Super overtime available We are currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Fitter to join a well-established food manufacturing site based in Roselands. About the Role You will be responsible for maintaining and repairing production machinery to ensure minimal downtime across the site. Working within a small maintenance team, you’ll carry out preventative maintenance, breakdown repairs, and continuous improvement work across a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities Preventative maintenance (PM) on production and packaging equipment Mechanical fault finding and breakdown response during production shifts Repairs and maintenance on conveyors, pumps, motors, gearboxes, bearings, pneumatics, and hydraulic systems Assisting with equipment upgrades and continuous improvement projects Maintaining maintenance records and ensuring equipment reliability Working collaboratively within a close-knit maintenance team What’s on Offer Salary package of $109,200 Super Penalties Stable Monday to Friday afternoon shift (2pm–10pm) Overtime available on weekends during production runs Strong team environment with autonomy in your role Long-term opportunity within a growing food manufacturing business About You Trade qualified Mechanical Fitter or similar mechanical trade background Experience within manufacturing, FMCG, food production, or packaging environments Strong mechanical fault-finding and troubleshooting skills Experience working with conveyors, pneumatics, hydraulics, and automated machinery Ability to work independently and within a small team Basic electrical understanding or exposure to automated equipment highly regarded If you’re looking for a stable afternoon shift with strong earning potential and long-term stability within food manufacturing, this could be a great fit.
