Service Repair Technician
Hands‐on Service/Repair Technician role in Zillmere, working on Tesmec plant. Permanent role with excellent conditions.

Roster: Monday – Friday
Salary: $110,000 - $120,000
Responsibilities
* Hands‐on servicing, repairs, and commissioning of heavy Tesmec plant and equipment
* Fault finding, breakdown repairs, and routine maintenance - workshop & field
* Supporting site jobs with fit‐ups, testing, and getting gear ready for hire and use
* Fault finding, diagnostics, and condition assessments on plant and equipment
* Commissioning, servicing, repairs, refurbishments, and upgrades of Tesmec and related machinery
* Safe and effective work in both workshop and field environments
* Conduct inspections, audits, and quality assurance checks
* Support equipment logistics, including preparation, testing, loading, and unloading for hire
* Assist with routine and preventative maintenance programs
* Provide technical support during onsite servicing and commissioning activities
Requirements
* Trade qualification as a Mechanical or Diesel Fitter
* Proven experience in the service, repair, and maintenance of plant and equipment
* Strong mechanical and electrical diagnostic skills
* Experience with hydraulic and electrical fault finding
* Ability to travel interstate regularly for onsite servicing, repairs, maintenance, and commissioning
* A current Australian Driver's Licence
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise across all levels
* High attention to detail and strong problem‐solving capability
Desirable Skills
* Knowledge of Tesmec equipment or related technologies
* Experience working on specialised equipment such as tensioners, winches, line‐pullers, or similar machinery
