Landscaping and Horticulture Professional
Job Details
This is a full-time role, working 3 to 5 days a week, mainly Monday to Friday. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out all landscape and horticultural tasks within the property.
The key to success in this role is being able to perform labour intensive tasks as directed, with minimal supervision, while maintaining a positive attitude and taking pride in your work.
* General landscape maintenance, including hard and softscape.
* Nurturing and supporting the growth of vegetables and fruit trees.
* Regular inspections of property fence lines and watering systems.
* Maintaining equipment as required.
* Working under instruction but also using your own initiative to work independently.
Practical skills are highly valued. The ideal candidate will be punctual and consistent, with the ability to work well with minimal supervision.
Key Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills:
* Laboratory and practical experience in landscape maintenance.
* Knowledge of plant care and cultivation techniques.
* Ability to operate various landscaping and gardening tools.
* Basic hand tool skills.
Desirable Skills:
* Relevant certifications or qualifications in horticulture or landscape management.
* Prior experience working in a similar role.
* Strong problem-solving skills.
