Job Title: Senior Broadcast Operations Specialist
About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Broadcast Operations Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing IT and systems support across all departments within the organization.
Key Responsibilities
* Acting as an escalation point for team members, helping them troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
* Taking charge of critical issues, making quick decisions to ensure minimal downtime.
* Providing advanced technical support and maintaining broadcast and IT equipment.
* Collaborating with equipment suppliers to ensure optimal performance and system reliability.
* Delivering high-level service and support to end users and clients.
* Documenting systems and procedures to maintain operational efficiency.
Requirements
* Qualifications in IT or Systems Engineering and experience in Linux OS and scripting, Windows Systems Administration, Network Administration and Support, Hardware troubleshooting.
* Experience supporting and maintaining post-production systems, Broadcast graphics equipment, Media Asset management systems, SQL or Oracle databases.
* Able to work well in high pressure, time critical situations, operate in a professional and courteous manner, be an effective communicator, assess and resolve problems accurately and quickly, and thrive on keeping up with rapid technology developments in the Broadcast and IT industries.
