Classification: ANU Officer 5 (Administration)
Salary package: $85,434 - $93,200 per annum plus 17% superannuation
Terms: Full time, Fixed term (up to 2 years)
The Position
The Administration Officer provides high-level effective administrative support and contributes to the efficient coordination and management of events and outreach activities. They will also provide discrete project support for the Tobacco Free Program at Yardhura Walani: The National Centre for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Wellbeing Research.
The Person
The Tobacco Free Program requires an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander Administration Officer who is well-organised, efficient, culturally sensitive and able to liaise effectively with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander stakeholders and non-Indigenous clients. They will report to the Business Manager and be highly responsive and supportive of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander and non-Indigenous academics and professional staff in the Centre. They will work well with other staff in NCEPH, the College and other areas of the ANU, including members of the public and external stakeholders.
