Role Description
This is a full‐time on‐site role for a Fleet Mechanic based in Adelaide, SA. The Fleet Mechanic will be responsible for maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing a diverse range of vehicles and equipment in the company's transport fleet. Daily tasks include conducting scheduled maintenance checks, identifying mechanical and technical issues, troubleshooting problems, and ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations. The Fleet Mechanic will also play a key role in maintaining fleet performance and minimizing downtime.
Qualifications
* Proficiency in vehicle maintenance, diagnostics, and repair, including troubleshooting mechanical and technical issues
* Experience with heavy vehicles, equipment, or transport fleet systems
* Strong understanding of safety regulations and compliance standards in the transportation industry
* Efficient organizational and time management skills for handling maintenance schedules and reporting
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively
* Relevant certifications or qualifications in automotive or mechanical engineering are an advantage
* Prior experience in logistics or transportation industries is a plus
