Therapeutic Care Worker
We provide a supportive environment for children and young people who have experienced trauma, neglect, and abuse.
Key Responsibilities:
* Work collaboratively to deliver high-quality therapeutic care.
* Implement current best practice therapeutic interventions and program guidelines to ensure the highest standard of care and child safety.
* Serve as a positive role model, supporting young people in their educational, social, and recreational pursuits while fostering independence.
* Create a safe and nurturing home environment, including managing household duties and providing nutritious meals.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
* A minimum Cert IV in Child, Youth & Family Intervention or equivalent qualification is required.
* A driver's license (minimum green P's) is essential for transporting young people.
* Strong communication skills, active listening, and a commitment to maintaining professional boundaries.
* Flexibility, adaptability, and the ability to multitask with ease.
