Nursing Opportunities
We are seeking a qualified Registered Nurse to join our Primary Care services at the Shortland Correctional Centre. This is a targeted position with preference given to applicants of Aboriginal descent. Exemption is claimed under Section 21 of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1977.
As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for performing reception screening and comprehensive health assessments on persons received into custody while assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing management. To be eligible to apply, you must have:
* Current authority to practice as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA).
* At least one full year of experience working as a Registered Nurse.

Key Responsibilities
We're looking for a highly motivated Registered Nurse with a strong background in nursing management. Your key responsibilities will include:
* Performing reception screening and comprehensive health assessments on persons received into custody.
* Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing management.
* Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective care plans.
* Maintaining accurate records and reporting to management as required.
