Your New Position
As the Logistics Manager, you will be responsible for:
* Managing the dispatch of plants to retail customers throughout Victoria
* Coordinating supplier pick-up runs from a wide range of growers and suppliers
* Liaising with internal teams and distributors to ensure timely deliveries
* Checking orders against original purchase orders and job details to ensure accuracy before dispatch
* Coordinating and supervising yard crew to manage order picking and preparation
* Collecting, validating, and analysing vehicle, driver, and resource utilisation data (including fuel usage, vehicle maintenance, and equipment readiness)
* Producing structured reports to support management decision-making
* Developing analytical reporting for drivers, load assignments, and route optimisation to reduce inefficiencies and ensure accurate payroll processing
* Documenting and standardising delivery workflows, operational checklists, and vehicle/driver kits to support scalable training and compliance
* Integrating operational risk, route restrictions, and safety considerations into delivery planning
* Implementing process improvements to maintain delivery efficiency, plant safety, and data integrity
* Collaborating with stakeholders to gather reporting requirements, develop dashboards, and recommend system improvements
To Be Considered for This Role, You Must Have:
* Previous experience in logistics or inventory control
* Minimum of 2+ years' experience in logistics or inventory control
* Strong retail customer service experience
* Minimum of 2+ years' experience in retail customer service
* Ability to multitask and work under pressure
* Ability to work autonomously while maintaining positive working relationships
* A proactive mindset with a drive for continuous improvement
* High accountability and strong attention to detail
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Strong organisational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
* Strong computer skills, including Google Sheets, Onfleet software, and Microsoft Office
* Onfleet software experience is preferred but can be learned on the job
* Australian work rights are required for this position

Salary: Paid in accordance with experience
Hours: 7:30am – 4:00pm, Monday to Friday
Candidates must have weekend availability (award rates apply for weekend work). Preference will be given to candidates available to work five days per week.
Weekend availability for either Saturday or Sunday is required for this position.
Successful candidates will be employed on a casual contract basis. Advertised pay rates will depend on relevant experience.
