Mission Systems Technician – Mission Equipment Service Centre

Our operations include a 24/7 Operations Centre, Systems Integration Lab, and Mission Equipment Service Centre that ensures mission success.
Responsibilities
* Control and maintain Aeronautical Products (AP) and Commercial Off‐the‐Shelf (COTS) mission/role equipment.
* Ensure all maintenance, documentation, supervision and certification are completed in accordance with regulations, policy manuals, component maintenance manuals and procedures.
* Comply with company Safety, WHS and Quality policies and procedures.
* Maintain the general condition, upkeep and housekeeping of relevant work areas.
* Accountable for tools and equipment used in maintenance.
* Assist auditors and investigators during audits and investigations.
* Liaise with Component OEMs, responsible CAMO's, Project teams, Suppliers, Customers and/or Engineering/Logistics staff as required.
* Perform general administrative duties as required.
* Perform other duties directed by the Service Centre Supervisor and/or Service Centre Manager.
Qualifications
* Certificate IV in Aeroskills or relevant trade experience. (Essential)
* Electronics, Electrical and/or Telecommunications trade‐based skills. (Essential)
* Aviation technical experience. (Desirable)
* IT maintenance, repairs and diagnostics skills. (Desirable)
* Radar Repair & Test – Ground and Airborne radar systems. (Desirable)
* Good communication skills.
* Ability to liaise with staff at all levels, from shop floor to CEO.
* Ability to work under pressure and meet agreed deadlines.
