Job Description
This is a highly rewarding role that involves leading trades and contractors to deliver high-quality residential builds safely, efficiently, and within contractual timeframes. As a Site Manager, you will be responsible for:
* Managing the program for flow of construction for a lifestyle retirement village based in Hervey Bay
* Implementing a safety-first approach on site with up to 100 contractors
* The allocation of materials and trades to job sites to ensure timely construction of the project
* Ensuring that homes are built in accordance with contractual arrangements and approved drawings
* Inspecting completed work to ensure high standards of quality workmanship
* Ensuring that homes are completed on time and within budget
* Ensuring construction is carried out safely and in accordance with company processes and systems
* Liaising with customers and council, as required, to provide an unbeatable customer service

Required Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will need:
* A Building Trade Certificate or tertiary education in Construction Management
* Experience within multi-residential living construction planning
* A strong project management ability to coordinate multiple service providers and suppliers to complete homes expediently
* Considerable knowledge of the basic methods, practices, tools, materials, and work standards related to the building of residential homes
* The ability to identify defects or problems proactively and take the necessary actions to rectify or prevent problems in an efficient manner
