Are you a passionate Biology / Science Teacher seeking a long‐term role within a values‐driven, high‐performing school environment?
ANZUK Education is proud to be partnering with a leading independent girls' school in Brisbane's inner suburbs, in search of an enthusiastic and dedicated Senior Biology / Science Teacher to join their teaching team.
This is a permanent, full‐time opportunity commencing Term 2, 2026, teaching across Years 7 to 12. The school is recognised for its strong academic culture, personalised approach to learning and commitment to both student and staff wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver engaging and high‐quality Biology and Science lessons across Years 7–12
* Design learning experiences that develop critical thinking, curiosity and lifelong learning skills
* Support students' academic progress and personal development within a supportive learning environment
* Assess, monitor and provide meaningful feedback on student learning
* Collaborate with colleagues within the Senior School teaching team
* Build positive relationships with students, families and the wider school community
* Contribute to the pastoral care and holistic development of students
Requirements
* Relevant tertiary qualifications in Education or Science
* Current registration with the Queensland College of Teachers (QCT)
* Experience teaching Biology and/or Science at secondary level
* Knowledge of effective and contemporary teaching and learning strategies
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work collaboratively within a professional teaching team
* Alignment with a faith‐based school ethos and commitment to student wellbeing
