The Opportunity
Orrcon Steel Distribution is seeking a Warehouse Team Member join our operations team based in Cairns. Orrcon Steel Distribution is a leading Australian steel distributor.
Our Cairns site is a busy retail branch. As a team member, you will support our warehouse operations in ensuring our products and solutions are delivered in a safe and timely manner for our customers. You will receive ongoing training and support to learn all aspects of the role allowing for future career development opportunities.
This role is a full time, permanent opportunity working Monday-Friday. Shift times vary between the hours of 6am-8pm. You will have access to various health and wellbeing initiatives including Employment Assistance Program, Employee Real Deals and on-going learning, support and training. You will receive a competitive salary package and participation in our company incentive program (bonus).
What Will You Do?
Successfully contribute to a safe working environment, this role will see you:
* safely loading and unloading our products from trucks
* operate forklifts, gantry cranes and processing machinery
* accurately pick and pack orders
