Our team will deliver the Central Package, which includes three-lane twin tunnels that will close the missing link in Melbourne's freeway network from the M80 Ring Road to an upgraded Eastern Freeway.
This major road project aims to reduce journey times and divert heavy vehicles away from local roads.
About the Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to support the delivery of the North East Link Central Package.
The successful candidate will ensure financial and operational commitments are met or exceeded and exploit opportunities for strategic development of the contract.
This role involves:
* Managing Subcontract and Supplier Contracts
* Financial Administration and Site Administration
* Preparing and Reviewing Project Monthly Reports
* Supervising Variations, Claims and Payment Certificates
* Addressing Contractual Matters with Stakeholders and Negotiating Disputes
* Implementing and Maintaining Contract Administration Processes
* Supervising the Contract Administration Team
* Managing End of Month Accruals Process for Subcontractors
Requirements for this Role
To be successful in this position, you will need:
* Tertiary Education in Engineering, Commerce/Business, Law, Quantity Surveying or Construction Management or equivalent experience
* 7-10 Years of Relevant Experience
* Strong Experience in Handling Claims and Disputes
* Demonstrated Commercial Acumen and Ability to Interpret and Apply Contracts
* Understanding of Relevant Legislation
* Ability to Prioritise and Manage Time and Workload
* Demonstrated Ability to Build and Manage Relationships and Work in a High Performing Team
* Knowledge and Experience in Project Management, Planning, Budgeting and Cost Control
* Strong Computer Skills in MS Office and Power BI
* Effective Interpersonal and Written and Oral Communication Skills
