Now we're looking for a
hands-on Production Manager
to take the reins at our Glendenning site, energise the team, and help shape the next generation of CMTP leaders.
The Role
As Production Manager, you'll be the driving force behind the day-to-day operations and the site's overall performance. You'll:
Lead, coach and mentor
a dynamic team of permanent and casual staff. Champion
safety, quality, and productivity
– ensuring standards are not only met but continually improved. Drive
continuous improvement projects
to reduce downtime and lift efficiency. Oversee new equipment installations and embed
best-practice systems
. Be
visible and hands-on
on the floor – leading by example. Work closely with senior management to set targets and deliver real results.
What We're Looking For
We're after a natural leader who:
Brings proven experience in
manufacturing or production leadership
(timber manufacturing knowledge a bonus). Stays calm under pressure, makes smart decisions, and gets things done. Has a knack for
building trust and high standards
in their team. Brings an accomplished business acumen into the role Is
mechanically minded
, tech-savvy and always eager to learn. Understands safety systems, SOPs and risk assessments inside-out. Has the ambition to
grow their career
and make their mark within CMTP.
